The FPC Golf Team continues to move up among the nation’s elite. In only its third year, the young squad has now claimed Top 10 status. The Golf Team and Coach Green is coming off the best season to date and are ready to compile a squad to work toward an even higher national ranking.  Returning a very strong sophomore class and bringing in talented freshman, Coach John Green hopes to create the chemistry to make an even more competitive team.

The new recruits will have to come in ready to play and compete among 4 teams in their region who just finished in the “Top 10” at the NJCAA National Golf Championship. The team will face a very competitive schedule at some of the 10 best golf venues in NJCAA competition. The scheduled tournaments will be covered by Golfstat, which will benefit the golfers in the long run to be recruited by university coaches. This complimented by the demands of Coach Green to perform well in the classroom, assists golfers in being an attraction to the 4 year coaches across the United States. Several of the golfers in the past three years have been placed at colleges ranging from NCAA DI to NAIA . 

The team with their 2009 finish will be invited back to the NJCAA National Preview which gives the best of the best a chance to get a heads up on the other teams when National Golf Tournament time comes around.

The team in 2009 also showed its strong leadership with a team GPA of 3.26 and a nomination for NJCAA Academic Team of the Year. This award will be determined later this summer.
