The FPC Golf Team continues to move up among the nation's elite. In only the 5th year of the program the FPC Golfers have achieved their highest Golfstat Ranking sitting 5th in the nation. This year's 2010-2011 freshman recruiting class is picked as the #1 recruiting class in the nation in NJCAA competition by Golfstat. At semester break three of the freshmen were listed in the Golfstat Top 100 in the Nation. Richard James from Wales, Johnathan Jones from England and Brad Hannah from England are the players who are leading the charge for FPC's highest finish in 2011. This team has a chemistry that is focus on competition and accepting nothing less than the best effort practicing, in the classroom and competing on the course.

The new recruits have come ready to play and compete among four other teams in their region who just finished in the "Top 10" at the NJCAA National Golf Championship 2010. The team will face a very competitive schedule at some of the best golf venues in NJCAA competition. The ten scheduled tournaments will be covered by Golfstat, which will benefit the golfers in the long run to be recruited by university coaches. This complimented by the demands to perform well in the classroom, assists golfers in being an attraction to the 4 year coaches across the United States. Many of the golfers in the past four years have received excellent scholarships at colleges ranging from NCAA DI to NAIA .

The team competed well in the Fall and certainly made a strong showing at the NJCAA National Preview. This was FPC's 5th consecutive invitation to the NJCAA National Preview thanks to the consecutive Top 20 finishes at the NJCAA National Tournament. The team finished in 4th place in 2010 their highest finish to date for the young golf program.

The team in 2010 showed strong leadership with a team GPA of 3.08 and in route to an opportunity to be nominated for their 5th straight NJCAA Academic Team of the Year. Eight of the FPC Golfers finished with over a 3.00 GPA in the Fall 2011. This NJCAA Academic Team of the Year will be determined later this summer.
