Lady Plainsmen Score 3.60 GPA for Fall 2015 - added 1/29/2016

The Frank Phillips College Lady Plainsmen volleyball team scored a GPA of 3.60 for the fall 2015 semester. During the season, they won the WJCAC Championship followed by the opportunity to compete at the national tournament. In the spring 2015, semester, the team held a GPA of 3.59 and was third in the nation among NJCAA Division I volleyball teams. The seven FPC athletic teams (volleyball, womenâ€™s basketball, menâ€™s basketball, softball, baseball, rodeo, and livestock judging) compete for the GPA Traveling Trophy at the end of each semester. The Lady Plainsmen have claimed the trophy twice in a row. Head Coach Casey Williams leads FPC Lady Plainsmen to NJCAA Nationals - added 1/29/2016

Frank Phillips College Head Volleyball Coach Casey Williams is looking to take the NJCAA Nationals Volleyball Championship by storm as she and her Lady Plainsmen prepare to travel to Casper, Wyoming on Tuesday, November 17, from the campus in Borger, Texas.
Williams, a Billings native, is in her second year as head coach at the community college located in the middle of the Texas Panhandle.
The Lady Plainsmen are 35-4 and handily won the NJCAA Regional Championship at Odessa College in Odessa, Texas, on November 6-8.
Williams and Assistant Coach Macy Olness are proud of the work, dedication, and excellence the team has invested in the season. Team members are: Sophomore Serena Luna, Manager, of Amarillo, TX; Sophomore Shelbi Rickwartz, DS/OH, of Amarillo, TX; Freshman Sarah Ahrens , DS/RS, of Wichita Falls, TX; and Sophomore Leslie Neveraz, DS, of Dumas, TX.
Also, Freshman Callie Fobian, DS, of Katy, TX; Freshman Ludmila Bomfim, S, of Belo Horizonte, Brazil; Freshman Sarah Trestrail, S/DS, of Wynn Vale, Australia; Freshman Krislynn Cedillo, DS, of Lubbock, TX; Freshman Gabriela Cruz Santos, OH, of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; and Sophomore Hunter Lenz, MB, of Amarillo, TX.
Also, Sophomore Karli Thornton, S/RS, of Lubbock, TX; Sophomore Fernanda da Silva, MB, of Belo Horizonte, Brazil; Sophomore Kaila Overton, OH, of Houston, TX; and Sophomore Johanna Mueller, RS/MB, of Dresden, Germany.
