Lucas Grider is entering his sixth season as the head coach, and seventh overall with the Lady Plainsmen. He spent his first year at Frank Phillips as the assistant coach and pitching coach at Frank Phillips Prior to Frank Coach Grider spent four years as the head softball coach of the Georgetown-Ridge Farm-Chrisman Cooperative, in Georgetown, Illinois. Before that Coach Grider spent two years as the first assistant coach and pitching coach at Louisburg College in Louisburg, North Carolina. While at Louisburg Coach Grider's teams both qualified for the NJCAA Division 1 National Championship Tournament. Prior to that Coach Grider was the assistant coach at Danville Area Community College in Danville, IL. Prior to Danville Coach Grider was both a head coach and assistant coach for the Jamaica Thunder, an ASA Class A summer program. Coach Grider earned his undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University and his Graduate degree from Indiana State University. Coach Grider and his wife, Jessica, reside in Borger with their three dogs Henry, Daisy and Boo.

Taylor Jones is entering her third season as the assistant coach with the Lady Plainsmen. Prior to Frank Phillips, Coach Taylor spent time working at Dallas Texas Consultants where she was considered one of the top sales reps in the metroplex. Prior to that, Coach Taylor graduated from Northwood University in Cedar Hill, Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Management. While Coach Taylor competed on the women's softball team, Northwood University won three conference titles, and made two trips to the NAIA National Tournament.
Taylor is originally from Plano, Texas where she attended Plano East Senior High School. She competed in softball while at East, and made an appearance to the UIL State Softball Tournament in her senior season. Taylor also played for Texas Glory Lutz in McKinney, Texas.
