Supervisory (NON-Faculty) Positions

Director of Counseling, Testing, Career Services

Responsibilities: Counsel, test, and offer career services to students and prospective students.

Other duties include:

  • Academic and career counseling, academic advisement and transfer articulation; preparation of degree plans; assisting with New Student Orientation; other counseling and supervising use of guidance program through grant participation, coordination admissions/enrollment of International Students.
  • Provide assessment and testing
  • Coordinate and/or assist in student service activities and special events
  • Serve as career information contact
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge

Basic qualifications: Master’s in counseling or psychology with counseling experience required. Experience in delivering career or academic advisement services, preferably in higher education. Candidates should have strong project management, organizational, interpersonal, and team skills.

12-month position.

Instructional Positions

Frank Phillips College Rodeo Coach/ Agriculture Instructor

Frank Phillips College is searching for a qualified individual who can actively recruit, coach, and engage students at the Junior College level. Responsibilities will include managing the rodeo program and overseeing the rodeo grounds. Position is a ten-month contract.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred: experience in competitive rodeo; and successful teaching experience at either the college or high school level is a plus.

College Advancement/President Receptionist

Frank Phillips College is searching for a qualified individual who can Coordinate Investment Committee/FPC Development Corporation meetings, coordinate the Scholarship Program, plan and coordinate campus events and banquets. Other duties to include maintaining the Campus Calendar for college staff and the community and serve on various boards within the community.

Part-Time Employment Opportunities
Part-Time Instructors
Frank Phillips College is in constant search of qualified instructors for all credit and non-credit curriculum offerings.� Employment will be determined by instructor qualifications and student demand. Summer, fall, or spring evenings or weekend opportunities available. Retirees encouraged to apply. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Specific areas most needed that require a Masters Degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field: Biology, Communications, Criminal Justice, Economics, English, Geology, Government, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Spanish.
