Individual Tutoring Procedure

1. Student seeking assistance will fill out tutee form completely and list hours available for scheduled tutoring.
2. The student will submit form to Tutor Training Facilitator/Supplemental Instruction Coordinator.
3. Tutor will contact the tutee to set up a mutually beneficial time for tutoring.

Group Tutoring Information and Procedure

Information - Group tutoring can occur in one of two ways:

1. The tutor of an assigned classroom will scheduled group tutoring session for a specific course and instructor (e.g. All MATH 1314 taught by Tollis).  Students from these classes can receive group tutoring assistance at any of the scheduled times.  students should remain in one study group for the duration of the semester to receive maximum benefit.
2. If a group of students want to schedule a specific time, a study group can be formed in the same subject and level.

Procedure

1. Student seeking assistance will fill out tutee form completely and list hours available for scheduled tutoring.
2. The student will submit form to Tutor Training Facilitator/Supplemental Instruction Coordinator or instructor.
3. Tutor is contacted after class or in the HEROES Center .
4. A group sign-in sheet is filled out during each session.
