What is TRiO?
Title IV (TRiO) is a Student Support Services program at Frank Phillips College that is funded by the federal government. It is designed to ensure the success of students who may face obstacles or are considered to be at high risk of not completing their college education. The goal of this program is to help student overcome common obstacles and help them excel while completing their college program.
We provide assistance to at least 160 students every year. Students who participate in the program come from every academic department and major on campus. Program services are offered at NO COST to students.
The Student Support Services program is designed to create a supportive and educational atmosphere that actively promotes retention and graduation for our participants. We strive to foster a supportive academic environment where our students can accomplish their academic goals.
